Glad to see you again! Be sure and check out the Blog page. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions. Have a great day! Lina

Blogging:
You can start off by getting a free account at blogsites such as blogger.com. You can either concentrate on one topic for the whole blog and make lots of blogs, or you can have a mixed blog.
How to earn money from it:
Apply for a PPC ad account… such as google adsense, Bidvertiser, etc. They will provide you with a code you can put in the html format of your blog so you can have ads on your blog. When visitors to your blog click on your ads, you earn money.
Affiliate marketing:
You can also sign up for affiliate programs. You won’t need capital for this. All you have to do is to advertise their products on your blog (nice if the product is related to your blog topic), and when someone buys the product through your site, you earn a commission. One of the best affiliate programs is Clickbank.
Freelance writing:
Website owners usually hire writers so they can produce lots of original articles on their sites in shorter time. Content is very important to websites, so if you are going to have your own website, you have to put in lots of content. You can apply as a writer to these website owners, so you can earn cash from them. Usually though, they prefer writers with lower rates. If you want to hire writers for your website later on, writers from India and the Philippines are the best people to hire, because they’re okay with low rates.

The very best place I have found to jump into freelance writing is http://www.constant-content.com. If you can write well you will earn money on a regular basis. Signing up if free and once you have an account all you have to do is upload your material. Constant has several editors that make sure your writing is clear and free of errors and if it is then they will approve it. You choose your own prices and it is added to your profile.
Furthermore, they will send emails to you of requests they have received for new articles. You will receive at least five requests a day that you are free to write an article for and then sell to the person who requested it. Check out the site, it can explain anything I have forgotten.

Here are some tips to find freelance writing work:
    1. First, create a portfolio of articles in your areas of expertise and interest.
    2. Next, go to your local library and get e-mail IDs of local journals and newspapers. Send e-mail to the editors of newspapers / magazines, expressing interest that you want to contribute articles to their publications. Attach to the e-mail one or more of your best writing samples. If the editors like your writing, they will contact you.
    3. Create a website / blog and upload your best writing samples. Promote your website.
    4. Write free articles to sites like ezine.com. At the end of the article, add your bio with a link back to your site.
    5. Add a link to your website in your e-mail signature.
    6. Register at sites likes guru.com and elance.com and bid for freelance writing work.
    7. Use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to market your skills.
    8. Search career portals like monster.com for freelance writing work.
    9. Keep a tab on ads for freelance writing work in print / on-line newspapers.

As far as blogging goes, a lot of businesses outsource their blog work to experienced writers. I ghost write for several blogs. I found those jobs and most of my other freelance writing work through oDesk. You might want to check them out. I’d suggest setting up an account and getting your portfolio started.
    Hope this helps!

I started freelancing on Odesk.com. I make money each month writing articles on almost anything and I have a regular job as a blogger/advice columnist.
It’s free to sign up, and then you bid on jobs.
