How easy would it be for an average computer user to design a wordpress site similar to this one:

If it looks too hard, I could have it done professionally. Would a place like godaddy.com be able to design it and give me hosting?

I’m new to this and thought I’d try it out but there is some technical jargon that I don’t understand, RSS and such.

I pretty much have a niche market, I realize that. My blog is located at theresainmerida.blogspot.com , I also want to add another blog about cooking, is that a good tie in? Thank you!

I’m budding writer – I am a reporter for my school newspaper and also have freelance work posted on other websites. I’m starting a blog where I chronical my work on worpress, but I’m not sure the best way present it. I’m looking for a very specific how-to answer, please! This is my first time using a content managing system like this.
