ok so I have a new domain and a hosting service. I want to put a wordpress template website on it. I like some of the templates so far, but can I edit those easily? what would you suggest or recommend? i only have very basic html skills ![]()
btw, i will be a tech-site. im a cisco guy, trying to get a gig going
I see that WordPress and Joomla templates are quite a bit in demand, and what to start making them. I know how to make XHTML and CSS templates.
My question is: Can I implement an HTML/CSS template into WordPress? And how?
I know HTML/CSS but no php or WP specific tags, so, what’s the best book for me to learn to code WP templates?
a list of them would be fine also

I want to show my templates top and bottom. Also I need it to be in the root directory. I want to add my own html in the middle. thx
I just got Wordpress, and I am trying to edit my templates; however, when I go to edit them there is no button to save what I’ve edited. I had my website host change the permissions to 755 and still no luck. If someone has any idea what could be wrong, please don’t hesitate to put it down. Thanks.
I would like to setup wordpress blog that would allow people to sign up to receive news letters and updates? Do I need to download wordpress to my computer? Is there any pre-made templates for this type?
