I’m planing to start a wordpress blog. But i was wondering if there was a way to make the url. Blogname.com
Not like blogname.wordpress.com
But i don’t want to pay for it.

Or do I have to use a template?
If so, what template would you recommend that allows the MOST customization?

I never had internet availible all the time to me until two years ago.
It’s truly opened my eyes to the way people percieve America in other countries.
On the plus side I’ve learned so much about other countries,more than I ever could by just reading books.

You can install Simple Machines Forum (SMF) and a bridge plugin in wordpress to integrate the users of both.

Yes you can definately make money from blogging.
Here is how to get started. Decide what topic you are going to write about – don’t necessary think about typical ‘money making’ topics but what you write about has to provide some benefit to your reader.
Next step is getting traffic (since traffic = more money) so each time you make a post, ping it and/or submit it to social networks like StumbleUpon.
Once you have the traffic now you can think about monetizing it. You can do this by either adding Adsense or promoting affiliate products. Keep the promotions directly linked to what your blog is about and then you can start to see the money come in!

Are Wordpress and MediaWiki/Wikipedia compliant with any levels of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)? And if so where do they state this.

When I try to add an image to a post a button appears saying “choose files to upload” but when I click it nothing happens. Unfortunately I cannot upgrade as I do not have the FTP details.
