I want to start a new blog. Im going to primarily use it for displaying my artwork, designs and photography. I want it to look professional and clean, but still artistic.
What is the best for my needs?

I would recommend using uber.com if your using it for artwork. I have an account with them and they have some awesome (and free) tools in addition to the blogging piece.
Your best bet is to Google a comparison between blogging sites… asking anyone individually is just begging for biases.
All I know is Blogger seems to be the most popular – I remember it as one of the first around, and in my opinion, the majority of people use it. If that’s enough, go for that. LiveJournal seems pretty popular, too.
However, if you want to be really professional, just create your own webpage off pure HTML – “do it for you” blog sites never really impressed me.
For me it is better for you to use a website … Blogging is good But in fact a professional website will help u more…..

Xanga.com! It is the best blogging site there is. It launched its new multimedia site recently. The people there are very helpful. The Xanga team has a live video chat every Thursday. They respond to every email!
You can upload pictures, audio, video, blog, meet friends! There are daily features; maybe your work might get featured.
